American Express and Delta Airlines have joined together to offer an outstanding frequent flier credit card that allows you to earn extra miles with minimal effort on your part. Since this card does not have an introductory offer and charges a high annual fee, it is geared toward people with excellent credit who will benefit the most from the incredible travel rewards program.

American Express gets the card benefits rolling by offering conveniences such as concierge services, roadside assistance, separate insurance for both car rental and travel accidents, and emergency assistance if the card is ever stolen. An annual summary of all account activity as well as Global Assist access are added benefits in addition to American Express's standard offers such as protection services of extended warranties, purchase return and protection and fraud protection.

Using your Delta Reserve Credit Card enables you to earn two miles for each eligible dollar you spend while shopping at home improvement stores, hardware stores, drugstores, purchasing some United States Postal services, groceries, and fuel from gas stations. Once your points have accumulated, you can choose to pay for all or part of your airline tickets with miles earned through the card’s Pay with Miles option.

Individuals using this card can boost their miles after their very first purchase with an infusion of 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs). If you spend $30,000 on the card in one year, you will receive an additional 30,000 Medallion Qualification Miles. Spending $60,000 a year on your Delta Reserve Card will boost your miles by another 15,000 Medallion Qualification Miles.

With an annual fee of $450 per year this card may not be right for everyone.
