Editor's Review:
Escape by Discover® Card, issued by Discover, is an outstanding travel rewards card that's suited perfectly for cardholders interested in earning travel points or airline miles quickly.
The Escape by Discover® Card rewards program automatically gives cardholders 1,000 miles for every month a purchase is made with the card for the first 25 months after the cardholder opens the account. Cardholders can earn up to 25,000 Bonus Miles* for simply using the card once a month.
The Escape by Discover® provides a 0% APR on both balance transfers and purchases for the first six months on the account.
Cardholders will also earn an unlimited amount of Double Miles rewards on all of their personal or business purchase items. Miles can be redeemed on any airline, hotel stay, cruise, or car rental, with absolutely no travel restrictions or blackout dates and miles will never expire. You also have the option of exchanging your miles for gift cards to 90 brand name partners or even for cash starting at just 1,000 miles earned.
Additional travel benefits (at no extra charge) includ lost luggage insurance, travel delay insurance, car rental insurance, as well as travel cancellation insurance.
While there is a $60 annual fee requirement for this card, the generosity and flexibility of the travel rewards feature more than make up for the cost of the fee. Keep in mind that while the ongoing APR for this card after the introductory offer expires is reasonable, only the highest qualified credit applicants will receive the lowest APR available.
