As a rewards credit card, the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card from Chase awards one point for every dollar spent with the card. Purchases made with Southwest airlines, however, are awarded with two points for every dollar spent. Cardholders also earn an additional 3,000 bonus points every year, which is enough to put $50 credit toward a Wanna Get Away fare.
Unlike some airline credit cards, which place caps on the amount of points that can be earned, the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card from Chase allows cardholders to collect an unlimited number of points.
