There is no doubt about it – anyone who is interested in an airlines credit card will find that there are many options available for them to select from. As such, finding the perfect travel rewards card can be a difficult task. For those who travel on a regular basis and prefer traveling with United Airlines, the United Mileage Plus Signature Visa Card is certainly one that deserves more than just a passing glance.

With the United Mileage Plus Signature Visa Card, card holders earn one mile for every dollar that is spent with the card. Furthermore, new card holders automatically receive 25,000 bonus miles after making your first purchase. Checks written from the account also count toward the 25,000 bonus point offer, but cash advances do not. With 30,000 miles, the card holder has more than enough miles available to get a free roundtrip saver ticket award to anywhere in the continental U.S. To earn another 5,000 bonus miles, all the card holder needs to do is sign another authorized user to the account. Card holders also receive $50 statement credit after making their first purchase with the card.
The annual fee of $60 is waived the first year, but those who travel frequently will quickly earn this fee back in the form of rewards. In fact, because card holders can earn unlimited miles every year and because the miles do not expire, they can easily save their miles for a dream vacation or for several small trips throughout the year. In addition, the annual fee associated with this card is the lowest of all of the credit cards offered through United, though the other cards do offer opportunities for earning double miles as well as earning Elite miles. Therefore, those who travel regularly with United might want to compare all of the airline’s credit cards in order to find the one that is best suited to their lifestyle and travel needs.
