The Blue Sky from American Express® is a pretty versatile rewards card but is great as an airline credit card specifically. Cardholders earn one point for each dollar spent on the card with an unlimited amount of points or miles that can be earned. One of the best things about the card as an airline rewards card is that points can be used for discounts on flights, hotels, rental cars, or cruises, without travel restrictions or blackout dates.
There is no limit to the amount of miles that can be earned with card and miles will never expire as long as the card remains active and in good standing.
The card has a relatively low interest rate for purchases (compared to similar offers) and does not require an annual fee. Cardholders can also take advantage of an introductory 0% interest rate on purchases that's good for up to twelve months after being approved for the card.
The Blue Sky from American Express® also offers a year-end financial statement online as well as a unique service entitled "Return Protection" where card members are credited back up to $300 for "non-refundable" purchases within 90 days of the purchase being made.
