Editor's Review:
The JetBlue Card from American Express is a good credit card choice for those who wish to take advantage of a low introductory rate and to be able to take advantage of receiving free airline travel with JetBlue Airlines.
There are many benefits cardholders receive by having a JetBlue Card from American Express. For example, it offers the convenience of legal and medical referral services to cardholders, as well as emergency card replacement. It also offers extended warranty for purchases and purchase protection. Special security measures are also in place in order to protect cardholders from liability for unauthorized Internet transaction. It also provides identity theft assistance and emergency card replacement. In addition, the card offers up to $100,000 in travel accident insurance, as well as auto rental insurance.
As an added perk, the JetBlue Card from American Express also has a low 3.99% introductory APR, which is good on all balance transfers requested at the time of card application. All balance transfers fees are waived for this introductory offer. After the period ends, the variable APR is based on the Prime Rate and balance transfer fees will apply for future transfers.
The JetBlue Card from American Express also offers a wonderful airline rewards program that will be particularly enjoyed by those who frequently flyers with JetBlue Airlines. Cardholders receive one Award Dollar for every dollar they spend on the card. In addition, purchases made on JetBlue flights, golf green fees, and event tickets earn two Award Dollars. The same is true for purchases made at movie theaters and restaurants. It takes 200 Award Dollars to equal one TrueBlue point. Once 100 TrueBlue points are accumulated, the cardholder can redeem them for one free round trip flight with jetBlue Airlines.
As an added perk, cardholders receive 10,000 bonus Award Dollars, which is equal to 50 TrueBlue Points, after they make their first purchase with the JetBlue Card from American Express. There is no limit on the number of points a cardholder can earn each year with the card, but Award Dollars points expire one year after they are earned. In addition, TrueBlue awards expire one year after they are issued.
The JetBlue Card from American Express has a $40 annual fee, but there is no fee associated with placing additional cardholders on the account. There is also a minimum potential credit line of $1,000 with the card, though there is no cap on the possible credit line. If a cardholder exceeds this limit, he or she is subject to a $35 fee.
