Cardholders earn one point for every dollar spent on the card and double points from purchases made at participating Starwood properties and retail outlets. Points in the Starwood rewards program can be redeemed for free hotel stays as well as airline travel.

One of the most attractive features about this rewards program is the ability of cardholders to transfer points to a variety of different frequent flyer programs. The annual fee of $65 is waived the first year.
