Editor's Review: The First PREMIER Bank MasterCard® is another unsecured credit card offered by First Premier Bank that is designed for people with less than perfect credit.

As is typical for this type of unsecured credit card, there are various fees associated with this card including the following which will be billed to the first statement: an annual fee of $48, an account set-up fee of $29, a program fee of $95, and a monthly participation fee of $6.

The additional fees for this card are somewhat offset by the APR for purchases which is comparably lower to similar unsecured credit cards. Please be sure to understand, however, that individuals who are considering this card should bear in mind the numerous fees that are applied to new accounts. If these charges are not paid in full, they will simply be tacked on to the total balance and additional finance charges on the account will accrue.

Those who become active members of the First PREMIER Bank MasterCard® will be glad to know that transactions will be reported each month to all four credit bureaus as an unsecured credit card.

*Although the rate posted for purchases of 9.9 is fixed, if the cardholder's account goes past the due date two times in any six month period, or goes past the due date for two consecutive billing cycles the penalty pricing will apply and the APR for purchases will increase to 19.9%.
