Editor's Review: While the Citi Diamond Preferred® Rewards Card is primarily designed as a reward credit card, it also maintains a 0% intro APR on balance transfers for an extended period (up to 12 months). For card applicants primarily interested in transferring high APR card balances, this card should be considered among the balance transfer credit cards worth noting. Keep in mind, however, that the 0% intro APR applies only to balance transfers, not to purchases or cash advances.

As with all balance transfer credit cards, card issuers typically require at least good credit in order to get approved for this type of card.

In addition to the attractive balance transfer offer, cardholders will receive other card benefits as well, including reward points of anywhere from 1 to 5 points per dollar spent on purchases with reward points redeemable on various products and/or services such as electronics, travel, dining and more. (See application for further details on rewards program.)

Additionally, cardholders don't have to pay an annual fee and the ongoing APR on balance transfers and purchases is pretty low relative to other similar cards in the balance transfer category.
