Editor's Review: The Citi® PremierPass® Card, which is issued by Citibank, was created for individuals who have very good credit. This card is one of the best balance transfer credit cards available and also includes an excellent rewards program.

The Citi® PremierPass® Card is one the best balance transfer cards available because of its excellent introductory offer. The cardholder can receive up to a 0.00% APR on balance transfers for up to the first 12 months of membership. Therefore, it is not necessary to transfer balances at the time of application in order to take advantage of this deal. After the introductory period if over, the card returns to a reasonable, variable APR that is based on the Prime Rate.

In addition to the reward of saving money by using this balance transfer credit card, the cardholder can also take advantage of the excellent rewards program. With the Citi PremierPass® Card, the cardholder earns one point for every dollar spent toward general purchases. In addition, the cardholder earns one point for every three miles he or she flies. Cardholders can also earn 1 point or every 3 miles from family and friends whose tickets were paid for with the card. This is another solid feature of the card. These points can later be redeemed on gift certificates, airline travel, merchandise and more.

A cardholder is allowed to earn up to 100,000 points in one year. In addition, the points do not expire as long as the account remains active at least one time during a three-year period. After making the first purchase, cardholders earn 5,000 bonus points.

In addition to being a great balance transfer credit card and offering an excellent rewards program, there are many other perks associated with the Citi® PremierPass® Card.
