Brazen Thieves in Florida Stealing Cards From Victims Purses

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Three recent incidents in the Melbourne/Viera area have the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office General Crimes Unit looking to the public for help in identifying the suspects involved. In all three cases, the suspects share the exact same description.

In each case, the suspects start by targeting an older female. A male suspect will approach the victim and begin to distract her. Meanwhile, the female suspect sneaks into the victim’s purse, removes the credit cards, then leaves. Those cards are then used to buy gift cards as well as electronics.

The male suspect is about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He weighs 160 pounds and has dark hair. In each of the thefts, he was wearing a white polo shirt. The female suspect is about five feet five inches tall. She has dark hair and wore a multicolored shirt during each of the robberies.
