Discover has announced a new card that might be of interest to fans of the Arena Football League, signing a new three year endorsement deal with the AFL.
The terms of the card are yet to be revealed. But, Discover Card will certainly be reaping some rewards from the alliance. If you are a fan of the AFL, you will soon notice that the players are wearing a Discover Card patch on the left side of their jerseys. Their logo and other insignia will also be on the Jumbotron and “dasher board” – so you will be sure to be drowning in Discover Card images soon.
The first 500 people applying for the new Discover Card or that use their Discover Card to pay for entrance into a game will also receive a special t-shirt containing both the AFL and Discover Card brand. Those wearing their shirts will be allowed to participate in special promotions making it possible for them to win prizes. If you’re an AFL fan, check it out.
