GE Money is partnering up with Golfsmith to offer a new credit card for those that enjoy shopping at the more than 70 retail outlets offered by the golf equipment company. Whether you like to shop at one of the brick and mortar stores or at the online store when purchasing custom fit golf clubs and other golfing accessories with Golfsmith, you will be able to receive a number of card membership benefits.
Despite its name, the Golfsmith stores have also recently added tennis products to its sporting inventory. As such, you will be able to choose from either a golf design or a tennis design with your card. Regardless of the design you select, your card will allow you to receive a number of discounts on either golf or tennis equipment, including apparel, accessories, and other merchandise.
Director of customer relationship management for the Golfsmith stores has stated that the main driving force behind offering the new credit card is to make it easier for their customers to make purchases while also helping to “increase or brand awareness and increases sales for our retailers.”
