Hancock Bank Announces Productivity MasterCard

by on November 30, 2006

On November 29, Hancock Bank announced a partnership with GE Money-Corporate Payment Services. As a result of this partnership, businesses with a Hancock Bank commercial credit card can enjoy a number of additional services that are intended to help businesses streamline both the purchase and payment process as well as to help them control their costs.

This new co-branded business credit card is to be called the Productivity MasterCard and will be made available to small and mid-sized businesses in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Being a MasterCard credit card, the Productivity MasterCard can be used anywhere a MasterCard is accepted. It can also be used for online shopping and the card account can be managed online as well. As a convenience to cardholders, the card offers real time tracking and reporting of all transactions that are made. Even better, the transaction data can be downloaded directly to the company’s accounting system, making it far easier to manage finances.

As an added perk, the recently created Productivity MasterCard also provides cardholders with a number of discounts on certain goods and services. Some of these include office supplies, car rental, and lodging. Cardholders can also choose to participate in the Productivity Points Rewards program. Those that choose to enroll in the program automatically receive 2,000 bonus points when the application is approved.

So, if you are a small business owner with a business in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, or Mississippi, and you’re looking for a few solid business credit cards to choose from, than you might want to seriously consider looking into this card.

I believe Citizens Bank was the card issuer for the GE Productivity card. There customer service number is 1-800-676-6276.
