CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Last Wednesday, prosecutors in Corpus Christi announced that Steven Reese Clark would spend six years in prison after he stole hundreds of credit card documents from a hotel. In December, Reece pleaded guilty to credit card fraud, and during the course of the investigation into the case, authorities were able to recover 250 credit card slips he stole to use for the information necessary to make fake credit cards.
In addition to the six year term in federal prison, Clark was also ordered to pay $3,600 in restitution fees. There were two other people linked to the same fraud ring, and prosecutors have said both of those individuals were also convicted and sent to prison.
The name of the hotel from which Clark stole the documents was not released.
