The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) recently announced on January 29th that it will roll out new changes to its credit card processing procedures for somewhere around 1,600 gasoline and convenience stores for Speedway SuperAmerica LLC, more commonly referred to as Speedway. With the new agreement, the RBS Group will start off by providing pay-at-the-pump and in-store processing for Speedway and will soon start processing debit card payments as well.
Speedway Vice President Brad Mayer is pleased with the move, saying, “Credit card processing plays an increasing role in the value and convenience we can offer our customers…RBS Lynk’s services will help Speedway continue to efficiently and cost-effectively meet the fueling and convenience needs of the more than 2.4 million customers who shop our stores on a daily basis.”
RBS Group is also happy with the move, with Vice President Gary Grant commenting, “We’re committed to providing unsurpassed customer service and support to Speedway’s 1,600 gasoline and convenience stores and look forward to a long relationship….RBS Lynk is intensely focused on helping companies in this industry realize the most efficient operations possible.”
