It was recently announced that Yellow Cab in New York City will soon be making it possible for passengers to “quickly and easily” pay fares with a credit card.
Right now, only a few cabs allow this type of payment and the process isn’t exactly convenient. But very shortly, consumers should anticipate the process becoming a whole lot easier. Apparently, the cabs will soon come equipped with built-in touch screens that passengers can use to make their payments via credit cards.
As always, this new advancement in technology just might make it a bit easier for thieves to take advantage, but all in all, it seems to be a pretty practical and useful idea for all parties involved.
