Blogger Arielle OShea recently offered people a few tips on TheBillFold.com to help make the most of rewards cards. OShea said she found herself shopping for a new rewards card after Chase diminished her rewards when she closed her bank account with them.
OShea mentioned the fact that shopping for a rewards card can be overwhelming. Not only do some of the cash back choices have rotating categories, but many of them have annual fees that can be a serious hassle. She quickly discovered, though, that the right card can be worth it, even if theres an annual fee involved.
OShea eventually chose the American Express Blue Cash Preferred card. It pays cash back on purchases. She now uses her card for absolutely everything. While you have to spend money, she reasons, you may as well get something in return for that spending.
