Editor's Review: The Bank of America® Cash Rewards Platinum Plus® MasterCard® is a cash back credit card intended to reward people who have established good credit. This card offers a good cash back rate with bonuses for ongoing use of the card. Additionally, there is no annual fee associated with the use of this card and there is a fixed interest rate which is considered to be low. People with good credit who don’t mind a fixed rate cash back rewards card will find this to be one of the better ones on the market.

The Bank of America® Cash Rewards Platinum Plus® MasterCard® offers cash back rewards for every purchase made on the card. The card holder earns 1% back on purchases which means that $1 is earned for every $100 spent on the credit card. However, there is additional cash earned by those people who use the card frequently. For every $2500 that is spent on the card, there will be $25 credited to the next statement upon request. In other words, every time that you’ve spent $2500 on your Bank of America® Cash Rewards Platinum Plus® MasterCard® Credit Card you can request to get $25 taken off of your next bill. This means that you aren’t just getting 1% cash back but also earning additional bonus cash back as you use the card.

The Bank of America® Cash Rewards Platinum Plus® MasterCard® Credit Card has no annual fee associated with it which makes it a desirable cash back card for many people. Additionally, it comes with a 0% introductory rate on balance transfers and cash advances for your first 15 billing cycles. That means that you can transfer balances on high interest credit cards and you will have a year without interest in which to pay off that balance. There is a fixed interest rate on purchases made on the card, which may be 9.99% or it may be 15.99% depending on the credit history of the card holder. Most people consider the former to be a great interest rate and the latter to be a fair interest rate in comparison with other cash back credit cards.

There are some people who don’t want a cash back credit card with a fixed interest rate. That is because people have concerns that there will be a fluctuation in interest rates that causes a rate now considered good to go down in value. This is a particular concern for those people who only qualify for the 15.99% interest rate on the Bank of America® Cash Rewards Platinum Plus® MasterCard® Credit Card. However, this is generally considered to be a solid cash back rewards offer and may deserve a second look, especially for people with good credit.
