Chase Freedom^SM cash back is one of our "top picks" and most recommended cash back credit card offers. Unlike many cash back credit cards, the Chase Freedom card offers you the choice between receiving reward points or cash back. If you decide to change your mind later and switch from a cash back program to a rewards program, or vice versa, you can do so without losing what you have earned and without a hassle.

Chase Freedom(SM) Credit Card also offers a higher cash back percentage than many cash back credit cards. For example, you will receive 3% cash back for the first 6 months on purchases at grocery stores, gas stations and fast food restaurants. So, whether you are filling up your tank, satisfying your hunger, or stocking your kitchen shelves, you will enjoy a relatively generous cash back amount relative to similar offers.

Additionally, cardholders can earn quarterly bonus opportunities of 3% cash back on top of their rewards. All other purchases will earn an unlimited 1% cash rebate.
