Editor's Review: The Chase Free Cash Rewards(SM) Visa® Card is a basic platinum-level cash back rewards card which is designed for use by people who have a very good credit history. The cash back rewards program associated with this card offers a decent rate on cash back and includes bonuses that make the program appealing to many people. Cashing in on the rewards for this program is a fairly straightforward process which is flexible in terms of how payouts are obtained. With no annual fee and a good interest rate, this is considered a good card for people who like the Chase brand and want a rewards card that will let them earn money back on their purchases easily.

The Chase Free Cash Rewards(SM) Visa® Card offers basic rewards along with bonus rewards. Basic rewards are accumulated via a point system in which each dollar spent on the card counts for one point in cash back. Whenever 2500 points have been accumulated, you can cash out for your $25 (which translates to a rate of 1% cash back which is considered average in comparison to other cash back credit cards). You automatically get 1000 bonus points when you are first approved for the card.

Getting the rewards that you earn on this card is an easy process in comparison with the rewards programs available for many other cards. Every time that you have earned enough to receive your $25, you can choose how you’d like to receive it. You can choose a $25 rebate check or a $25 gift card from one of the participating merchant stores. Many people like the flexibility of this payment option because they can get cash when they need it or they can give gift cards to people instead.

In comparison with other cash back credit cards, the rates and fees on this card are considered to be good. There is a zero percent introductory interest rate on both balance transfers and purchases for up to the first twelve billing cycles. After the introductory period is over, the ongoing APR is considered lower than average in comparison with other comparable cards. There is no annual fee or any fee associated with the rewards program. This means that it’s a good card for someone who has a balance to transfer and pay off at zero interest within a year but it’s also a good rewards card for someone who is going to have to carry a balance on the credit card over time.
