Editor's Review: The Disney Rewards® Visa® Card by Chase is a cash back rewards card that is specifically designed for the consumer who really loves Disney and Disney's products. The cash back that is earned on this credit card is translated into Disney Dream Reward Dollars which can be used to purchase a range of different Disney merchandise and tickets to Disney theme parks. With no annual fee and a low introductory interest rate, this is a great cash rewards card for someone who has already established good credit and who wants to take advantage of the opportunity to get some Disney for their dollars.

The cash back rewards program on this card is unique in that it is only designed to allow you to make Disney-related purchases. As such, an applicant should be someone who is already a fan of Disney and who already buys Disney products on a regular basis. The family that travels to DisneyLand every year and wants to get some discounts in order to help fund the vacation will find this type of credit card to be beneficial. The business traveler who hasn't been to DisneyLand since he was a kid will not.

Other than the fact that all rewards are Disney-oriented, this is a fairly straightforward rewards card. One percent of purchases is given back to the card holder in the form of a rebate. This translates into one Disney Dream Reward Dollar for every $100 spent on the card. There are some limitations on the number of points that can be added up throughout the year. However, those limitations are high and the average person isn't going to reach them so it shouldn't be a problem for most people interested in this credit card. What the card holder should be aware of, though, is the fact that points expire after five years so it's important to book those Disney vacations before the points disappear.

In comparison with other credit cards, including other cash back credit cards, the rates and fees of the Disney Rewards® Visa® Card by Chase are considered to be fair. There is no annual fee associated with this card. There is a zero percent introductory interest rate on balance transfers and purchases made in the first year of owning the credit card. For someone that has good credit, it is possible to qualify for a non-introductory rate that is much lower in comparison with many other rewards credit cards. For the individual who is looking to find a credit card that can be used on a daily basis and who happens to have a strong interest in Disney products and Disney travel, this can be an ideal credit card. However, it's certainly a niche credit card so applicants will want to consider all options before applying.
