The CitiBusiness® Card, a Citibank credit card, was created for those individuals with very good credit that wish to keep all of their business-related expenses in one place.
The introductory offer is quite attractive, particularly for a business owner that may have all of the business expenses spread out on a variety of credit cards. For the first 12 months of membership, the cardholder receives an incredible 0.00% APR on all purchases. While balance transfers do not need to be initiated at the time of application, there is a balance transfer fee with this card, which varies depending upon the amount transferred. In fact, all balance transfers conducted at any time during the first year of membership are subject to the introductory rate.
In addition, the CitiBusiness® Card offers a variety of additional services. For example, it provides fraud and security protection services and lost wallet service. It also protects cardholders from liability for unauthorized Internet transactions. Cardholders also enjoy purchase protection, extended warranty for purchases, and discounts on a wide variety of goods and services.
For those who like to travel, the CitiBusiness® Card provides auto rental insurance, lost luggage insurance, emergency translation services, up to $1,000,000 in travel accident insurance, and a variety of additional travel services. Cardholders also receive personal concierge service, legal and medical services, and roadside assistance. For added convenience, the card offers access to SPEEDPAY by phone, an autopayment option, access to the CitiBusiness Small Business Resource Center, and quarterly and year-end financial statements.
There is no annual fee associated with the CitiBusiness® Card. In addition, there is no extra cost to add another cardholder to the account. After the introductory period is complete, the variable APR for balance transfers is based on the Prime Rate. The APR for cash advances and purchases is variable and based on the Prime Rate from the start. In addition, there is a minimum cap on the APR for cash advances, meaning the APR will never be below the cap, no matter how low the Prime Rate may be. There is a 3% balance transfer fee, with a minimum of $5 and a maximum of $50.
