Editor's Review: The Discover More Card, which is issued by Morgan Stanley, was specifically created for individuals with good credit that also wish to participate in a cash reward credit card program.

The Discover More Card allows its cardholders to earn back 5% of all money spent at participating merchants. General purchases earn back a 1% rebate, while purchases made at participating discount stores and warehouse clubs earns back .25%. For the first $1,500 the cardholder spends on general purchases, he or she will receive .25% cash back. Expenditures between $1,500 and $3,000 earns a .5% cash back rebate. All money spent over $3,000 results in a 1% rebate. In addition, cardholders can earn a double Cashback Bonus when they redeem their rebates for gift certificates valid at participating Discover Card Partners.

Unlike many cash reward programs, there is no limit on the amount of rebates a cardholder can earn each year. In addition, the rebates never expire as long as the cardholder keeps his or her account active at least once during a three-year period.

In addition to the cash back rewards program, the Discover More Card offers a variety of other perks. For example, it offers up to $500,000 in travel accident insurance and auto rental insurance. It also includes fraud and security protection services and discounts on services and products at participating retailers and merchants.

In addition, the card offers an attractive 0 APR introductory offer. This APR is valid on all purchases and balance transfers during the first six months of membership. Unlike many balance transfer introductory offers, the transfer does not need to be made at the time of application. Instead, the APR is good for any balance transfer made during the entire first year of membership.

There is no annual fee associated with the Discover More Card and there is no fee for placing additional cardholders on the account. The APR on purchases is variable and based on the Prime Rate after the introductory period is complete. The APR on cash advances, however, is a fixed 20.99%. Finance charges are determined with the less common "Two Cycles Average Daily Balance" method instead of the "Average Daily Balance" method, which is more costly for those carrying a balance on their credit card.
