Editor's Review: With the Citi® Diamond Preferred® Rewards Card, cardholders with good credit who qualify can get an instant approval online for this card. Applicants fill out the online application and in literally just a few minutes (or sometimes even 60 seconds or less) will receive an immediate response for approval. Be advised that all instant approval credit cards require applicants to have good credit.

As is typical with instant approval credit cards, sometimes the card issuer will require follow up information on the applicant to verify credit worthiness if the applicant's credit needs further inquiry. When this happens, typically the card issuer will notify the applicant by mail within 30 days or less (usually) whether or not he/she was approved for the card. So at best, expect to wait for a response if your credit is anything less than good.

In addition to this credit card's instant online approval feature, cardholders receive several other card feature benefits. Cardholders will earn up to five reward points per dollar spent on purchases made at specified retailing locations (super markets, gas stations, and drug stores) as well as one point per dollar spent on all of their other purchases. Furthermore, cardholders have the option to redeem their reward points on a fairly wide selection of services and/or products.

This instant approval card is a solid all around credit card with no annual fee and an extended 0% intro APR on balance transfers and purchases for up to 12 months, and a relatively low ongoing APR on purchases and balance transfers compared to similar cards.

All in all, this is a solid all around card with numerous benefits worth noting.
