Editor's Review:
Considered the flagship card in Chase's credit card product lineup, the Chase Platinum Visa® Card is a superior overall platinum credit card because of its notable versatility. The card has several low APR credit card features worth noting, an outstanding rewards option as well as an extended balance transfer offer. Because of this versatility, the Chase Platinum Visa should be placed at the top of anyone's consideration list when looking for a low APR card with a combination of great features.
And as with any low interest credit card, applicants will need good credit in order to be approved for this offer. This card has a very appealing extended 0% introductory APR. This low APR is good for both purchases as well as balance transfers for up to 12 months (for most qualified applicants). With an extended 0% introductory interest rate combined with a low ongoing APR, this card offer should be highly considered for those shopping for cards in the low interest credit cards category.
Regarding the ongoing APR for this card, when you compare it to similar low APR credit cards, it's very competitive, adding to this card's appeal. And, the card doesn't have an annual fee either. Be advised that not everyone will qualify for the lowest interest rate "tier" for this card offer. Based on the card issuer's estimate of the applicant's credit risk, there are several APR "tiers" that can be assigned to a cardholder's account. Be sure to read and understand how the interest rates are structured on the card issuer's application page before applying for the card.
As a cardholder, you'll also receive a yearly financial summary and statement of all of your card transactions.
