As with all prepaid credit cards, this card was designed to help those with fair, poor, or even bad credit history receive a credit card. In addition, those with no credit history can use prepaid debit cards to build their credit.
The Eufora Preferred Pre-Paid MasterCard offers additional perks that aren't often seen with prepaid credit cards. For example, any cardholder who refers a new applicant for the Eufora Preferred or Elite MasterCard receives a $50 payment every year if that applicant is approved and maintains their card in good standing. A $20 annual bonus is issued to cardholders who refer an applicant to the Eufora Associate MasterCard if the applicant is approved and maintains a good standing.
Another perk to this prepaid credit card is the monthly drawing. For every $100 a cardholder spends, his or her name is automatically entered into a drawing for one of thirty different cars. The Eufora Preferred Pre-Paid MasterCard also provides auto rental insurance, purchase protection, and travel accident insurance of up to $100,000.
For those looking to take advantage of a prepaid card in order to re-establish, or establish, credit will be pleased with the fact that the Eufora Preferred Pre-Paid MasterCard also provides credit reporting for two years. There is a processing fee of $19.95, plus an additional $6.95 a month for the first year. This results in a total of $79.80 for this service.
There is a $59.95 annual fee for the Eufora Preferred Pre-Paid MasterCard. Additional cards can be added to the account for $9.95.
Unlike many prepaid debit cards, however, there are not additional participation fees or application fees. Instead, the applicant simply deposits the amount of money he wishes to be able to spend with the card. Deposits can range anywhere from $10 to $300 when using the Internet or a checking or savings account to add funds. With other methods, a maximum of $5,000 can be added at a time. The overall maximum that can be held on the card is $5,000.
With this prepaid credit card, the amount of money deposited is the amount that can be spent. These funds can easily be added to the account through direct employer deposits, transfers from bank accounts, money orders, or even through participating merchants. Money earned from referrals to this prepaid credit card can even be added to the funds within the card.
