The Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Rewards Visa® Card, which is designed specifically for those with good credit that also enjoy shopping at Bass Pro Shops, makes it possible for outdoor enthusiasts to earn more rewards when shopping for their outdoor equipment. In fact, cardholders earn a 4% rebate each time they purchase Bass Pro Shops brand merchandise. When they make other purchases at Bass Pro Shop that are not Bass Pro Shop branded items, they still receive a 2% rebate. In addition, all other general purchases earn them a 1% rebate.
Unlike many reward credit cards, cardholders are free to collect as many rebates as they like each year. In addition, cardholders receive a bonus $25 gift certificate after making their first purchase with the card. Those that are concerned about the environment will also be happy to know that every purchase made with the Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Rewards Visa® Card helps to support conservation efforts and doesn’t cost the cardholder any additional money.
There is no annual fee associated with the Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Rewards Visa® Card. In addition, it offers a lower introductory APR on cash advances and balance transfers. The 0% APR is good for twelve months, after which the card reverts back to its regular APR. Depending on the applicant’s credit history, the APR will then revert to the standard 9.9% or 15.99% fixed interest rate after the introductory period is complete.
The Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Rewards Visa® Card does not offer a long list of benefits aside from its rewards program. It does, however, have the basics covered. For example, the cardholder can access his or her account online and can take advantage of a number of different online services. In addition, the support the card provides to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation is sure to be appreciated by any lover of the great outdoors.
The Bass Pro Shops® Outdoor Rewards Visa® Card does not have a pre-established minimum or maximum credit limit with the card. Therefore, new applicants can expect to be extended a line of credit that ranges anywhere from quite small to rather large. Once that credit limit is established, it is important for cardholders to avoid spending more than that card limit. If they have a balance of up to $500 and they go over their limit, they will be assessed a $15 fee. If the have over $500 but less than $1,000, they will be charged a $1,000 fee. If they have a balance over $1,000, on the other hand, they will be charged with a $39 fee.
