The Citi® Forward® Card is a
new generation of rewards card
that rewards people for simply doing the right thing. If cardholders simply stay
within their credit limit and pay on time, they stand to be rewarded with bonus
points and rate reductions.
The introductory offer is 0% if you qualify
for 7 months on purchases and 12 months on balance
transfers, but the ongoing APR is competitive and comparable to similar
offers once the introductory APR expires.
Cardholders who pay on time
and stay within their credit limit will receive 100 bonus points in each billing
period and also stand to earn a potential reduction in the APR on their card.
APR reductions are awarded in increments of .25% after 3 months in a row of
making a purchase, staying within their limit and paying their bill on
time.
Cardholders can earn more bonus points quickly and easily: 2,500
bonus points if the cardholder signs up for paperless statements and 6,000 bonus
points after making their first $250 in purchases. However, the cardholder can
only qualify for these rewards by signing up within the first 3 months of
opening the account.
The Citi® Forward® Card also
rewards cardholders with 5 points per dollar spent at restaurants, book stores,
movie theaters, and video rental stores, and 1 point per dollar spent on all
other purchases. Points can be redeemed through the Thank You network for cash,
music, gift cards, electronics, and more.
