Editor's Review:
The Citi® Professional(SM) Cash Card is a business rewards credit card that is ideal for someone that is seeking a card for both business and personal expenses. A major feature of this business rewards cards in comparison with other cards of its kind is that it has an online report expense feature which lets you easily organize your credit card statement in order to differentiate personal from business expenses on one card. It offers a cash back rewards program and a decent interest rate without requiring above-average credit to qualify for the card.
The Citi® Professional(SM) Cash Card has a cash back rewards program that makes it easy to get money for spending money. You automatically get 1% cash back on all purchases made on the card. You may qualify for up to 3% back on certain purchases depending on the type of purchase and the place where the purchase was made. Unlike many other cash back rewards cards, it’s easy to get your cash by simply requesting a check for the amount that you have earned. You must earn at least $50 before a check will be issued to you and you may not get more than $500 back in one year.
In addition to the rewards program, there are additional benefits associated with the use of the Citi® Professional(SM) Cash Card. The main benefit is the online expense tool which lets you easily separate out your business and personal purchases made on the card. This is great for people who own their own business or who otherwise would like to use one credit card but must keep expenses separate for tax purposes. In addition to this feature, other standard benefits of the Citi® Professional(SM) Cash Card include travel, emergency and auto rental insurance features.
There is no annual fee charged for use of the Citi® Professional(SM) Cash Card which means that you don’t have to spend any money to get cash back. That’s a big perk on a business rewards credit card. There is also a 0% introductory APR on purchases for the first year which makes this card ideal for businesses that need to pay for start-up expenses. The interest rate on this credit card is considered average and fair in comparison with other cards of its kind. People who are seeking a credit card that combines – and yet separates – personal and business expenses while offering cash back rewards on purchases will find that this card is a good choice. However, those people who are going to spend more than $50,000 per year on the card will want to select a different card that doesn’t cap its rewards at $500 cash back per year.
