Editor's Review:
The ESPN Total Access Visa® Card is specifically designed for those people who spend a lot of money on the enjoyment of sports. It is best for sports fans who are particularly fond of ESPN and who make purchases through the ESPN stores. People who are sports fans that have a few credit card problems on their record don’t have to worry too much about qualifying for this card since you really only need average credit to be allowed to get the ESPN Total Access Visa® Card. Additionally, the rates on this card are fair so they aren’t likely to contribute to further damaging your credit assuming that you are now responsible with the use of your credit cards.
The ESPN Total Access Visa® Card offers rewards that are specifically intended to please people who love sports. If you want to get tickets to sporting events, VIP event perks, and gear related to your favorite sports teams, these rewards can help you do that. Rewards may also allow you to get other types of things that are only somewhat related to sports such as points towards travel and restaurant purchases. Rewards are accumulated through a point system; you get one point for every $1 that you put on the card. However, any purchases that you make from ESPN (such as those made at ESPN Zones and the ESPN shop) give you 5 points for every dollar. This makes the ESPN Total Access Visa® Card especially perfect for people who already shop through ESPN.
Rewards points are easily redeemed through this program because there aren’t a lot of limitations on using them. You can start getting rewards as soon as you’ve racked up 2500 points which is easy to do since you get 2500 points just for making your first purchase on the ESPN Total Access Visa® Card. There are some limitations on reward points that card holders should be aware of. Most importantly, you lose all points if you fail to add purchases onto the card for 35 months in a row. Additionally, you may only get 500,000 points per year which isn’t a problem for most card holders since you’re not likely to spend quite that much on the card.
The ESPN Total Access Visa® Card has no annual fee so there aren’t any real drawbacks to getting this card. Additionally, there is a six month introductory period during which both purchases and balance transfers have a 0% interest rate. Furthermore, balance transfer fees are waived during the first ninety days that the card is owned. The standard interest rate on this card is below average in comparison with other cards of its kind which makes it a good card to consider getting. If you’re a sports fan with average credit who wants rewards that will allow you to enjoy more sports, especially through ESPN, then this could be the card that suits you.
