AccountNow® Prepaid Visa® Card

The AccountNow® Prepaid card allows you to choose from two different plans, allowing you to select the plan that best suits your individual financial needs.

For starters, the card allows you to enjoy the convenience of a credit card without actually extending a line of credit. As such, there is no chance of accruing a significant amount of debt or being charged finance charges.

As with all prepaid debit cards, you'll need to place funds on your AccountNow® Prepaid Visa® before you can begin using it to make purchases. Each day, you can load up to $5,950 on your card. More specifically, you can load up to $5,000 per day on your card through direct deposit and $950 per day by making cash deposits at various retail locations. In addition, the maximum amount of value you can store on the credit card is $10,000 and you can only load funds on your card up to five times per day.

You can also withdraw money from your AccountNow® Prepaid Visa®, but you are limited to withdraw $300 per day. If you have set up a recurring direct deposit, however, you can withdraw up to $500 per day from your AccountNow® Prepaid Visa®. In addition, it should be noted that there are limits on the transactions that can be made with this prepaid card. For example, when it comes to purchases requiring your signature, you can spend up to $1,500 per day. If the purchase requires the use of a PIN, on the other hand, you are limited to $1,000 worth of purchases per day.

To apply for the AccountNow® Prepaid Visa®, you will need to pay a $9.95 application fee. You can avoid this fee, however, by setting up direct deposit with the card. In addition, the card offers free bill pay service for your first seven transactions each month.
